- Write the response including an executive summary. This is critical as you need a compelling executive summary to persuade the reader and communicate your key win themes. Sometimes, procurement teams only have time to read the executive summary and not the entire bid. We usually leave the executive summary till the end – understand your key win themes – and then write it in a way that is punchy and effective.
- Project manage the tender response process from commencement to completion. Bid management is a key component of the bid writing process. For larger, and smaller bids, you will have multiple stakeholders to manage and will need input and evidence from a variety of sources. Add to that, conforming with mandatory criteria and you have yourself a relatively complex process. Our team will help you take control of the tender process, stay on top of it, and project manage your bid.
- Provide timely updates to you on the progress of the tender. We will keep you informed every step of the way. We use draft documentation and shared files in Microsoft word to get your input and enable you to easily see the progress of your bid. It’s a very transparent process.
- Draft and manage the tender. This is where the real work comes in. We will write your tender response. We will gather the necessary information from you and write the responses to each question enabling you time to provide input and amend. We will also edit and proofread the response as necessary. We’re a tender and bid writing service and that is essentially what we do.
- Provide instructions in a timely manner to all key stakeholders with guidance on the information required. At the start of the process, we create a checklist of everything you need to write (and hopefully win) the government or private sector contract. We will then communicate these needs to your key stakeholders and ensure we receive the information in a timely manner.
- Review content, provide feedback, edit and clarify content to ensure a compelling and comprehensive response. We don’t simply accept whatever your key stakeholders send to us as content and then cut and paste it into the response. We check it to ensure it comprehensively answers the question, we make sure any claims are quantified and backed by evidence, and we challenge key stakeholders for more information to turn it into a winning high-scoring response if necessary.
- Lead discussions with key stakeholders to guide strategic decisions on what evidence to include, case examples etc.
- Review all CVs to ensure they are tailored to the client. Sometimes your Bios are absolutely critical to the end result. The client wants to know they are getting you’re A-Team and will want to look at who they will be working with. We ensure that we tailor your CVs to the opportunity in the bid and include information that is relevant.
- Review content including a copy edit and prepare the response for final sign-off and submission.
We will work with you to understand your position in the marketplace, identify win themes, gather documentation and submit a quality proposal.
